    Keilder 2 day update

    The Pirelli KEILDER 2 DAY ENDURO 31/JULY /1 AUGUST
    Rounds 4 and 5 NEEC
    Work on the Pirelli kielder 2 day is progressing well, with lots of new going for 2010, all of last year’s damaged going has been cut out, this year will see the inclusion of an out check and refuelling point .with only five weeks to go the forest is the driest we have seen it in the last 3 years.
    Saturdays start time is 12 noon to allow riders to travel up on the Saturday, Sundays start time is 10 am, and riders can ride 1or 2 days. Check times to the out check will be slack for all classes this check includes the test and is approximately 24 miles, the out check back is about 7 miles and times will be tighter. With classes for championship expert clubman 040 050 sportsman, This is one of the few 2 day events that caters for sportsman riders with sportsman only routes Camping is available at the start from Friday the 30 July.     site says postponed !!!! , running a practice day at woodhouse instead.

    not the same tho is it?? was really looking forward to keilder, nice long laps. i know it was tough and wet last year but i thought a lot more people would have entered than they have.

    yes, not enough riders!!! all those people that can't be arsed to enter early. can't understand it. lets hope we haven't lost the venue for next year!!!!

    Sorry to all the riders that entered but 29 is not enough, we would have run with 60, we are looking at a new date later on , we have spent loads of time cutting out new breaks reducing the fire roads which would have given a lap of 39 miles . Over 50 per cent of this years course is new going
